They wanted to fill that gap that most Americans have in their education—we learn about science and algebra and how to conjugate a verb, but we never really learn how paying a bills late will affect our credit scores, or how our credit scores will affect our ability to buy a home. We don’t learn how to fill out a loan application, or the right way to shop for a vehicle. We don’t learn that the credit choices we make when we’re young can affect everything from the rates we pay for insurance to our ability to get a job or promotion years down the line. They drew on their own experience and knowledge from the mortgage and car industries, and filled in the gaps bringing in experts from the credit card industry, the credit bureaus, business lending, debt collections, and life coaching, to create a powerful team with knowledge and experience to assist their clients with any financial situation they might encounter.
